Daxnan was a national finalist project in the prestigious James Dyson Award 2006. It is an unique concept of sustainable drainer, designed to be economical with a limited life that facilitates the placement of kitchen utensils after washing them. It consists of three elements:
Reused foamed polyurethane cups: these are foam tubes normally used as insulation for hot water pipes. It is a very flexible and economical material that repels water very well.
A frame to joins them.
A sponge on the bottom that absorbs all the water.
